Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the AML Precheck plugin (the "Plugin") and this website, provided by GLOBAL CONSUMER ASSOCIATION z.s., Dlouhá 715/38, 110 00 Praha, Czech Republic, ID No. (IČO) 23086742 ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Plugin you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.
1. What the Plugin is
The Plugin helps you prepare a planned bank transfer. Based on the information you provide and on publicly available sources, it highlights possible sanctions and country risks, validates IBAN/BIC format, explains which documents a bank may request and flags common scam patterns. The Plugin is provided free of charge.
2. Advisory only
The Plugin does not execute, initiate or authorise payments and has no access to any bank or payment system. Its output is an automated pre-check, not a bank decision and not a sanctions, AML or fraud determination. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Your bank or payment service provider applies its own checks and makes the final decision.
3. Accuracy and limitations
- The Plugin relies on an AI model and on web searches of public sources. Results may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and the same question may produce different answers.
- Sanctions and high-risk country lists change frequently. A result of "no issues found" means only that no issues were found in the sources checked at that moment.
- A name appearing on a list is reported as a possible match. It does not confirm that the person or company is the same, and it is not an accusation.
- IBAN/BIC validation checks format and check digits only. It does not confirm that an account exists or belongs to the named recipient.
You are responsible for verifying important information with your bank, the official source or a qualified professional before acting on it.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Plugin to:
- evade sanctions, hide the true recipient, destination or beneficial owner of a payment, or circumvent a bank's controls;
- structure or split payments to avoid reporting thresholds or document requests;
- prepare false or misleading payment descriptions or documents;
- finance or facilitate terrorism, trafficking, fraud or any other unlawful activity;
- harass or defame any person, or publish possible list matches as established facts.
The Plugin will decline such requests. You must also comply with the terms of the AI platform on which you use the Plugin.
5. Your information
Share only the information needed for the check, and do not share payment card numbers, PINs, one-time codes, passwords or national ID numbers. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party platforms and sources
The Plugin runs on AI platforms operated by third parties and refers to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, content or data practices. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Plugin, including its instructions, reference materials and scripts, is proprietary and owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Plugin for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law. Reports generated for you may be used freely by you.
8. No warranty
The Plugin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Plugin, including rejected, delayed, frozen or lost payments, fraud losses, fines or penalties. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
10. Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Plugin at any time. We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring claims in its courts.
