Check a planned bank transfer before you send it
AML Precheck is a plugin for AI assistants. Describe the transfer you plan to make: to whom, where and how. The assistant reviews it against public sources and tells you what to check and prepare before you pay.
What it does
- Checks the recipient and the countries involved against public sanctions lists and high-risk country lists (EU, UN, FATF and others).
- Validates IBAN and BIC format and check digits, and explains SEPA and SWIFT field requirements.
- Explains which supporting documents a bank is likely to ask for and how to describe the purpose of payment accurately.
- Flags common scam patterns: investment and crypto fraud, romance scams, fake invoices, CEO fraud, impersonation.
- Produces a short report with a traffic-light summary, the sources it used and the date they were checked.
What it does not do
AML Precheck is advisory only. It does not execute, initiate or authorise payments, has no access to any bank system and does not make AML, sanctions or legal determinations. It is not legal, tax or investment advice. Your bank always makes the final decision.
